ADHD and Neurodiversity Training
In addition to my individual and couples counselling work, I’m finding increasing demand for my ADHD and Neurodiversity training workshops, and for employee support.
My workshops are designed to suit your individual or organisational need and can range from multiple individual sessions delivered to groups or individuals, or single day or part-day sessions group sessions, and include psychoeducational and interactive elements, and include subjects like:
- Difference and diversity, and whether ADHD is a disability
- Working with ADHD colleagues and creating an inclusive workplace
- Reasonable adjustments
- How to work with the condition, not just to circumvent it
- Resources available to individuals and institutions
The training I deliver allows for complete customisation. Offered in timed blocks by subject, clients can choose the components which work best for their organisation, to a time and outcome which suits them.
My professional background gives me a unique understanding of the need to balance individual and business need, and previous clients have included EAPs, national charities and multinational corporations. With a mindfulness of inclusivity and sensitivity consistent with my counselling practice, my training is designed to be realistic and clear about avenues of help, accountability, the obstacles and limitations of neurodiversity, and how organisations can support where individuals take proactive action to support themselves.
I similarly support organisations looking to support employees with structured and practice neurodiverse-specialist advice. In limited sessions, I work with employees and offer tools, practical workarounds, offering clear pathways forward and psychoeducation around the condition and its emotional resonance.
